Great Grand parent were
John Plaskon - born in Snakiv, Saros County, Hungary
Susanna Deliman - born in Michalovce, Zemplen County, Hungary

My great-grandfather Mike Deliman came to the US from Czechoslovakia. His son John (my grandfather) always said that our family came from Michalovce, which back then would have been in Hungary. I do not have much about my ancestors before they came to the US. In some of my searches I did come across a Susanna (Zuzanna) Deliman from Zemplen County. Check this website:

There is also a photo of a Susanna Deliman posted on a website of geneological pictures. Do a Google Search for Susanna Deliman and you will find that site.

Please let me know what you find out about the Delimans in Michalovce.

The SK's phone site is at : www.zoznamst.sk
The surname PLASKON lists in village of Snakov, SK and DELIMAN lists in Michalovce.
The LDS-Mormons have filmed the church records of SK so check out their website for the films which you can order and gather ancestral information.

evelyn Marsh 1: Nagy/Bodnar

Looking for the firs husband of my grandmother Maria Bodnar b 18 Mar 1877 in Nagy Mihaly (Michalovce) who married a widower Nagy first name unknown - he had a son Lewis Nagy & daughter, I believe, Mariska. He died and grandmother married Vincent Paul Gudasz. Lewis Nagy did not come to the USA. Also looking for son Nagy Lewis.

My great-grandfather was Andrew Deliman he was born 02/10/1895 in Czechoslvakia. His wifes' name was Mary (Mandczack?)she died very young I beleive in 1942. They had 3 children Anna, Andrew Jr, and my grandfather John. My grandfather said that his family was from Zemplinska & Topolcany(?}. My great-grandparents would have came to America between 1921-1923 and would have setteled in Mocanaqua, Pa. My grandfather spoke of relitive in Ohio (Lorraine?) He also spoke of a cousin John and his wife Helen. I don't know much about his family and would like to learn more. Could we be related?

Topolcany is a large town in area code /UTO 038 so it can not be it. It most likely is Topolany which is now part of Michalovce as a Topolianska ulica (street). What you know, DELIMAN still in Topolany - Topolianska ulica (street).

There is a guy in topolany under the surname of Deliman. (I myself can tell since I live there) His house number would probably be 142( -5)...

It's "Your welcome" if you are still looking for him.

And by the way I think the guy makes chairs/tables from wood for living. And I am not sure about that either coz he had a ?heart-attack? so now he can't do any hard work... If you want more info you got my email.

I am searching for information for George Bushanic (Busanic)b. abt. 1868 in Topolyan and his wife, Maria Mitro b. abt. 1872 in Pozdisovc.He immigrated to the U.S. in 1884 to Pennsylvania and Ohio. They had seven children. Any information concerning this family will be greatly appreciated for family history.
